Roger,
I’m having a hard time pitching my proposal to agents. I have been turn down about 12 times.
Almost thinking about self publishing my personal finance book.
I have a good platform and information, not sure what I’m doing wrong

Thank you for commenting.
Without seeing your proposals and covering letter, I cannot venture a guess as to what the hold-up may be. How did you choose the agents you submitted your proposal to? What was the criteria you used to determine whom to contact?
How critically did you analyze existing books in your field, and use that research to position your own book?
The samples on your site look good. And, I’d like to help if I can. Contact me via e-mail Roger@PublishedandProfitable.com if you’d like to discuss where to go from here.
It’s not unusual for books to be turned down multiple times before success occurs. Keep your spirits up and your momentum flowing, and identify what’s not working and change it so it works. You’re not alone in feeling frustrated. And, 2010 is a fresh start to re-think your approach.
