aol-cars-logo-article-four5Who would have thought that graphic design and logos would become a mainstream topic?

At one point, before personal computers like the Apple Macintosh and software like Adobe’s PageMaker, interest in graphic design topics like logos was pretty much limited to full time, professional designers.

Now, however, graphic design is everyone’s business, and–evidently–a popular topic.

This evening, however, the home screen of AOL featured an illustrated article about the latest changes in automotive logos.

Would this topic have run 20 years ago?

Probably not. But, now, logos, typefaces, white space, and other graphic design topics are everyone’s business!

We live in exciting times. The opportunities for creative expression are greater than ever. (And, our copywriting and design abilities are more important than ever.)

Are you comfortable?

How comfortable are you with your graphic design abilities? Is graphic design a mystery to you, something you delegate to others, or do you welcome it as another way to build your personal brand? Share your comments about graphic design as a comment, below. Thank you!
