Tuesday’s writing tip for authors

Before I post my new Reader Change Planner worksheet for authors in Published & Profitable’s member area, I’m looking for 25 nonfiction authors to try it out.

I’m looking for both new and experienced authors.

Purpose

The worksheet helps authors save time preparing book proposals and selecting their book’s table of contents.

After identifying the specific changes different reader segments are looking for, it becomes easier for authors to identify the steps readers need to take in order to achieve their goals. These steps become their book’s sections and chapters.

Format

The downloadable PDF Reader Change Planning Worksheet is intended to be printed and filled-out by hand using pen or pencil. Ideas often flow easier away from the computer, working with a clipboard or notebook, while in the company of others or while traveling or relaxing at home.
