mindmap-offline-5-section-fMonday’s Planning Tip for Authors

Mind mapping software programs like Mindjet’s MindManager are great for planning your book and creating its table of contents before you begin writing. You can work faster when you view each chapter in the context of the finished book.

But, what if you’re a MindManager user who wants to work offline, perhaps while traveling, in bed, or in front of the fireplace. (Or, perhaps, all 3 at once?)

In that case, I encourage you to download my free Book Planning Template which is intended for Published & Profitable friends to download, print, and fill out using pen or pencil.

When you return to work, simply re-create your map using MindManager, or your favorite word processing program.

Download now and give it a try!

Download my free offline book planning template here. Put it to work this evening, or on the bus or train. See how much progress you can make offline using pen or pencil. Later, download a 30-day trial version of Mindjet’s MindManager so you can recreate your map in greater detail on your computer when you return to the office, allowing you to export it to your word processing or presentation program.

Roger, I just copied your title to Twitter with a link and as I posted it I realised MindManager is missing an “a”.

Sounds great. I’m searchin really hard for a long time. This offline-Working-thing seems to be awesome.
When i sit in front of the pc, starring in to the screen, inspiration is often gone. This seems to be perfect for me

    Dear Andrew:
    Thank you for your Tweet!

Oops. I’m off right now to fix the offending typo.

Isn’t it amazing that mistakes only occur in highly noticeable areas, like titles?

I could say I did it on purpose, to emphasize how WordPress’s spell checker doesn’t work on titles, but I don’t think I’d convince many people. g)

    Best wishes–

    Roger

    Dear Curtis:
Thank you for taking the time to write.

BTW, I loved your http://www.curtsview.com blog post about the disconnect between hospital room 7319 and the room’s third floor location. That’s great. Just perfect.

Best wishes on your mind mapping!

    Roger
