He formed The Kaden Company in 1992, working intimately with a small group of clients, and providing the personal service, experience and creativity that go hand in hand with producing insightful marketing research and new product concepts and ideas. The Kaden Company has completed over 350 studies and assignments.

Bob also founded Goldring and Company, one of Chicago’s premier market research, strategic planning and new product development companies growing it to $4 million in yearly billing employing a staff of 40 professionals. He has worked extensively in the retail, banking and credit card, food, consumer package goods, health care, educational, toy, technology and direct marketing industries.

Bob Kaden was a founding member of the DMA Market Research Council, conducting over 500 studies for direct marketers, working with 25 of the nation’s largest catalog companies.

In his career, Bob has written many articles on market research applications for direct marketers and lectured widely on the use of creative problem-solving techniques as they apply to research, strategic planning and new product development processes.
