Mindjet Connect is a new online service available for  Mindmanager 8 users. Mindjet Connect offers new ways for authors and publishers to profit from mind mapping, file sharing, and online collaboration. Here’s how Mindjet Connect benefits authors and publishers:

• Write anywhere. Mindjet Connect allows authors to access the latest versions of their book’s manuscript or marketing materials from any computer with an Internet connection. This eliminates file transfers between laptop and desktop computers, or home and office computers. Short, frequent, working sessions become more practical when authors don’t have to worry about file transfers.
• Coauthor collaboration. Mindjet Connect permits coauthors to co-edit mind maps of their book’s table of contents online, or promotional plans, in either planned or impromptu working sessions. Coauthors will also find it easier to review each other’s work by enjoying instant access to the latest versions of their manuscript files.
• Book publishers. Editors can set up secure online Workspaces (see Mindjet Connect glossary), for everyone associated with a book’s editing, production, and promotion. Authors, acquisition editors, development editors, grammar editors, publicists, and the publisher’s sales team can all monitor the project’s progress.
• Group coaching. Using Mindjet Connect offers authors many new ways to profit from individual and group coaching. • Mastermind groups. Mindjet Connect permits authors and clients, or groups of authors, to brainstorm new ideas, working together online, adding new ideas and co-editing maps. All participants can add new ideas, or comment on previous ideas, during these live sessions.

Authors can set up subscription-based access to premium content, allowing paying members to access updated information, i.e., newly created maps, in-depth case studies, and other types of premium resources. Authors and publishers can set up reading groups for individual books, or categories of books. Selling different target markets access to information on a monthly or quarterly basis creates numerous passive income opportunities.
• Savings. By providing a secure online environment for sharing files, Mindjet Connect eliminates courier and postage expenses. Authors, publishers, and others accessing a Mindjet Connect Workspace do not need to own MindManager in order to take advantage of Mindjet Connect’s benefits.

Mindjet Connect includes MindManager Web, an online application that permits every Workspace User to open, edit, save, and print maps, even if they are not currently a MindManager users! MindManager Web works from anywhere with any standard Internet browser, regardless of computing platform.
