Upcoming events for authors (2 of 2)
Authors interested in obtaining the best possible literary agent representation are invited to attend next week’s free Published & Profitable teleseminar when I interview Jim Levine, founder of Levine Greenberg Literary Agency. You’ll learn what to look for when selecting a literary agent, the questions to ask, and–most important–what a literary agent wants to know about you and your book writing project.
If you attended the recent Published & Profitable interview with Dan Ariely, author of the best-selling Predictably Irrrational: The Hidden Forces that Affect Our Decisions, you’re already familiar with the role that Jim Levine played in the success of book.
Now, you can learn the other side of the story, as Jim discusses what attracted him to the project, and what you can do to make yourself “equally irresistible” to the literary agents you hope to represent you. You’ll find out what literary agents look for in query letters and book proposals, and what are the clues that attract their interest.
As part of a team of 13 people, with offices in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles, Levine Greenberg represents fiction and non-fiction writers throughout the publishing process, from concept to profit.
Jim knows what it takes to promote a creative work. He has written seven books and over 100 articles for popular and professional magazines and has appeared on most of the major television and radio shows, including Today, Good Morning America, and Oprah.

Roger,
Really sorry I missed this one, spent considerable time yesterday trying to find this interview, and loved the Ariely interview, - simply terrific, in fact just made me want to read his book immediately!
