Milana Leshinsky’s tips for authors and coaches “digging for gold” in their e-mail “sent” folder

Thursday’s profit tip for authors

One of the questions I’m going to ask Milana Leshinsky, author of Coaching Millions, when I interview her tomorrow, (see below), is to elaborate on the list of ways authors and coaches can convert ideas sent to customers, clients, prospects, and colleagues into new and profitable information products.

I’ve never seen anything quite like her list, which appears on pages 154, 155, and 156, of Coaching Millions. Her list emphasizes how the wealth of information authors and coaches tend to generate on the spur of the moment–responding to client and reader e-mails–can be recycled into a variety of products.

We all tend to take the e-mails we send for granted, rather than creating a system for harvesting the information our e-mails contain.

In fact, I think another question I’m going to ask Milana tomorrow is: “What kind of structure does she recommend for tracking ideas contained in in-coming questions and out-going e-mailed answers?”

If you have a question about making the transition from author to coach you’d like me to ask, please add it as a comment, below, or send it to me via e-mail.
