Friday’s upcoming events for authors, #2 of 3

Published & Profitable Editorial Board member Michael Port recently sent me an e-mail inviting Published & Profitable members to help him write his next book. Michael Port is the leader of the Think Big Revolution, which he described on the Donny Deutch’s The Big Idea. Michael is the popular author of Book Yourself Solid and Beyond Booked Solid. Michael’s next book next book is titled, appropriately enough, The Think Big Manifesto.

This book promises to be Michael Port’s magnum opus, but it’s really about you and how you continue to think big about who you are and what you offer the world. Michael is looking for short stories about how you have thought bigger in areas like the following:

• How have you stood for something that was difficult?
• How have you overcome the feeling of being a fraud?
• How have you successfully collaborated with others to do bigger things than you could have done yourself?
• How have you (and do you) been comfortable with being uncomfortable?
• How you improved your ability to make commitments and fulfill them (become more accountable)?
• How have you maintained your integrity in the face of adversity?
• How have you learned to work harder with more commitment?
• How do you have fun–serious fun
• How have you submitted to authority to become an authority? (How have you followed the rules to then make new ones?)

Michael’s book offers an easy way to get your story into print and become noticed. Who knows where this first step can lead to.

Submission details
Yes, Michael says that your name will be used in the book, but if you give me permission. If you’d prefer to be anonymous, that’s ok, too.

Michael can’t promise your story will be used, but he says there’s a good chance it will be. Entries can be as short as 3 sentences or as long as 30 sentences. Write whatever feels right for you.
