Monday’s planning tip for authors
Research plays an important role in planning profitable and successful books. Published & Profitable offers numerous articles, assessments, mind mapping templates, and worksheets to its members to help them analyze existing books and keep track of the lessons each book can teach. You’ll be drawing on your research when you create the “Competing Books” section of your book proposal, one of the most important sections of your proposal. Published & Profitable research tools include:
- Articles, such as How to evaluate existing books in your field
- Worksheets that provide a structure for your research, such as describe your impressions of each book
- Assessments that help you rate existing books in your field.
These, and other, tools make it easy for you to create a planning process you can work on, a little at a time, as you develop a way of approaching your topic in an entirely different way than your published competition.
