Tuesday’s writing tip
Occasionally, while writing your book’s manuscript, authors only need to print a paragraph or two of text, not full page. This typically occurs while self-editing your work, after you have made extensive revisions to a paragraph, or section, of a page. Microsoft Word makes it easy to print just a portion of a page, rather than limiting your choices to full pages. To print just a portion of a page:
- Select, or highlight, the desired sentences or paragraphs.
- Open the File menu and select Print, (or use the CTRL+P keyboard shortcut).
- Locate the Page Range section of the Print dialog box, and click the “Selection” button.
Microsoft Word will print only the selected text on each page, which will save you ink or toner.

Another thing I could add is using a voice recognition software like yReader (FREE). Then you can have that bit of writing read to you.
