I am beginning writing a book and want to make sure I answer all of the revelent (and hopefully most of the would-be-nice-to-know) questions my readers would have. I have never undertaken such a large project and don’t want to leave anything essential out.
I have Googled the topic and most of the articles are about selling and slanting the writing for sale. Don’t get me wrong, I would like to sell it, once finished, but the process and the story are my focus.
I have begun asking myself the 5′W’ and ‘H’ about every aspect of the story, but fear I may have overlooked some. Does such a list exist (in print)?

    Thank you

    Dear Ron:
    Thank you for responding.

From your comments, it appears you have a good handle on movement versus “over-planning.”

There’s a great book I’d like to recommend to you: The Story Factor: Inspiration, Influence, and Persuasion Through the Art of Storytelling. It’s by Annette Simmons.

Many have recommended it. I found it fascinating. Let me know what you think.

    Roger
